Watch Information

Some watches rely on the dial to make an impression, but this vintage Seiko is really all about the bracelet.

The elongated oval case is paired with a crisp white dial, bold black Roman numerals and a beautifully textured centre, giving the face a very classic, almost antique feel. But look at the bracelet and you’ll notice the detail that makes this piece so unusual — sculptural gold-tone links arranged in a repeating bow-like pattern, with layered lines that give the bracelet an incredible amount of depth and texture.

It feels much more like a piece of vintage jewellery than a conventional watch, with a design that becomes more interesting the closer you look. A particularly lovely example of the decorative ladies’ watches Seiko was producing during this period.
